The Best Sports Bar in Woodinville: A Local's Guide to Rooneys

If you’ve searched for a sports bar in Woodinville, you already know the list is short. Woodinville is famous for wine, over a hundred tasting rooms, rolling vineyards, the whole Napa-of-the-Northwest thing. It’s a beautiful place to spend a Saturday afternoon. But when you want to watch the Seahawks with the sound up, grab a cold beer and a plate of wings at 11 PM, and actually feel like you’re at the game, the tasting-room crowd can’t help you.

That’s the gap Rooneys fills. We’re Woodinville’s sports bar, 20 big-screen TVs, a 12-foot projector, a full kitchen running late, and a room built for game day, right in the Woodinville Towne Center. This is the local’s guide to what that actually means, and why folks from Woodinville, Redmond, Bothell, Kirkland and Duvall end up here when there’s a game on.

Woodinville finally has a true sports bar

For years, watching the big game in Woodinville meant driving to Redmond or Bothell, or crowding around a single TV at a place that’s really a restaurant with a screen in the corner. A real sports bar is different. It’s designed around the game: sightlines to a screen from every seat, audio you can actually hear, and a crowd that cares whether the Hawks convert on third down.

Rooneys was built that way on purpose. It’s a grown-ups’ hangout (we’re 21-and-over), open every single day from 11 AM to 2 AM, with the kind of late kitchen and deep drink list you don’t expect to find this side of Seattle. If “sports bar near me” keeps sending you out of town, this is the local answer.

Every game, on every screen

Here’s what sets a genuine sports bar apart: you never have to ask for your game. At Rooneys, there are 20 big-screen TVs plus a 12-foot projector screen, running DirecTV and Comcast, so whatever’s on, it’s on here. Multiple games at once? That’s a normal Sunday. Your team playing a West Coast late game while another table watches the East Coast matchup? Handled.

We show every Seahawks, Mariners, Kraken, Sounders, Huskies and Cougs game, plus national primetime NFL (Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football), big fights, and the 2026 World Cup on the projector, Seattle’s a host city, so that one’s a whole thing around here. You can always see what’s on the big screen before you head over.

During football season we open early for morning kickoffs, and Game Day means an $11 hot dog, fries and a beer during all Hawks, M’s and Kraken games. It’s the kind of deal that turns “let’s watch at home” into “let’s just go to Rooneys.”

Food and drink built for game day

A sports bar lives and dies on the food, and this is where a lot of places phone it in. We don’t. The kitchen runs late every night, so you can get a real plate well after most Woodinville restaurants have closed their kitchens.

The menu is stacked with game-day food done right: house-ground burgers made to order, hand-cut wings tossed in everything from Nashville Hot to garlic parmesan, Mondo Nachos piled high to share, loaded tots, quesadillas, and our famous build-your-own Bloody Marys (the loaded Chubby Mary is a Woodinville legend). A full bar and a serious whiskey list

Rooneys is locally owned, and the back bar shows it. Behind the taps you’ll find an extensive whiskey, bourbon and scotch collection alongside 12 rotating beers on tap, leaning into Pacific Northwest breweries, plus scratch cocktails and a happy hour worth planning around (3–6 PM, Monday through Saturday).

It’s the rare spot where you can order a neat pour of Kentucky bourbon and watch the fourth quarter on a 12-foot screen without moving your feet.

Pool, darts, and a whole game room

The game on the screen is only half of it. Rooneys has one of the only real pool table setups in Woodinville, two tables, free to play all day on Thursdays, plus electronic darts, Golden Tee, Godzilla pinball, shuffleboard, a TouchTunes jukebox, and a wall of pull tabs if you’re feeling lucky.

It’s the difference between a place you watch one game and leave, and a place you settle into for the night.

Something on every night of the week

Even when your team’s on a bye, there’s a reason to come in. Our weekly lineup keeps Woodinville busy:

  • Monday — Martini Monday and Industry Night (10% off after 8 PM for service-industry folks)
  • Tuesday — Taco Tuesday, $2 tacos and $6 margaritas
  • Wednesday — Beat the Geek Trivia at 7 PM
  • Thursday — Free pool all day and Open Mic Comedy at 9 PM
  • Friday & Saturday — Karaoke with Sandra Dee at 9:30 PM
  • Sunday — Game Day deals on every Hawks, M’s and Kraken game

See the current weekly events for the full rundown. It’s the same idea every night: give Woodinville a real reason to get off the couch.

Open late — Woodinville’s late-night spot

This is the part that genuinely sets Rooneys apart in Woodinville: we’re open until 2 AM, every single day, with the kitchen running late. When the tasting rooms have long since locked up and most kitchens in town went cold at 9, Rooneys is still pouring cold beer and plating hot food. Whether you’re coming off a shift, heading home from a show in Seattle, or the group text finally landed on plans, there’s a stool with your name on it.
