Rooneys Now Opens at 9 AM on Football Weekends in Woodinville
Football season is back, and so is the earliest alarm on our schedule: Rooneys now opens at 9 AM on Saturdays and Sundays so you can catch the morning kickoffs with a crowd instead of on your couch. That’s the plan all the way through the season — right into the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
Why 9 AM
Most Sundays during football season, the first wave of NFL games kicks at 10 a.m. Pacific — that’s the 1 p.m. Eastern window, and it happens nearly every week no matter who the Seahawks are playing. Opening the doors at 9 gives you time to grab a seat, order breakfast, and settle in with a coffee or a Bloody Mary before the first snap. Saturdays get the same 9 AM open for the college slate and morning matches, so both weekend days are covered.
So the schedule for the season looks like this:
- Saturday & Sunday: open 9 AM for the morning games, straight through to 2 AM
- Monday–Friday: our usual 11 AM to 2 AM
- Playoffs & the Super Bowl: we’re open early for those weekend games too

Every game, now on two projector screens
We just added two projector screens to go with our 20 TVs, so there’s no bad seat in the house for kickoff — every one running DirecTV and Comcast. We show every Seahawks, Huskies, Cougs, Mariners and Kraken game, plus national primetime NFL. Check what’s on the big screen before you head over.
And game day still means the $11.50 hot dog, fries and a beer deal during every Hawks, Mariners and Kraken game.
